Bad Magic ~ When the Album’s from Motörhead, the Badder the Better!
“Lemmy” Kilmister ~ lead vocals, bass guitar (1975–present), Phil Campbell ~ guitar, backing vocals (1984–present), Mikkey Dee ~ drums (1992–present) form the band that really needs no introduction.
Motörheadbangers worldwide, aka our true fellow fans of down-n-dirty raunch-n-roll, can officially gird their loins and eardrums for the prodigal return ~ recorded and live ~ of music’s greatest, meanest, nastiest and most relentless rock trio…
Grammy Award winning legends Motörhead, who are embarking on a 40th anniversary world tour in support of their upcoming release Bad Magic, have announced the dates for the US portion of that tour. These North American shows start in mid-August with Saxon, Anthrax, and Crobot as special guests on select dates and end with the now-legendary Motörboat Cruise (Sept 28th – Oct 2nd) from Miami, Florida to Nassau, Bahamas. The cruise also features Slayer, Anthrax and a bumper line-up of bands including three exciting new acts: Others, Budderside, and No Words. There’s a reason it’s referred to as “Motörhead’s Motörboat – The Loudest Boat In The Wörld!” Check out Motörhead’s Motörboat 2014 Flashback here.
Bad Magic is the band’s 22nd studio album and is slated to be released August 28th via UDR Music / Motörhead Music. The album was recorded at NRG Studios in Los Angeles, CA with long-time producer Cameron Webb and is the follow-up to the band’s highly successful album Aftershock, which saw Motörhead enjoy their most successful year yet, one that included a fourth Grammy nomination.
Take a little jump back in time with us to Aftershock by watching the video for “Heartbreaker” …
and then to Rockpalast 2014 in Düsseldorf, Germany to see Motörhead performing live.
