Silver Takes the Stage as Part of Brad Paisley’s “Beat This Winter” Tour in Manchester, New Hampshire

Dee Jay Silver, who grew up in Texas but then moved to Springfield, MO after graduating from Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge, AR, has been touring for over 10 years, performing at premier venues in virtually every major market in the U.S., Mexico and Canada. He got his start thanks to DJ P, who let the newcomer open for him every night until Silver was ready to take the next step in his career. For the past several years, Silver has thrilled millions while on back-to-back tours with country superstar Jason Aldean (watch a video showcasing highlights from Silver’s last run with Jason HERE ), entertaining the crowds in between sets. He’s now performing his unique country/hip hop/rock mashups and remixes on tour with Brad Paisley, Chris Young and Danielle Bradbery.

1COUNTRY CLUB2013 was a big year for Silver. Summer 2013 marked the release of his much anticipated EP titled Country Club (Sony Nashville) which features creative and rhythmic country mash-ups of some of the format’s most popular and beloved stars, including Alabama, Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, Jake Owen, and Love and Theft. Silver’s unique brand of entertainment crosses over to audiences in multiple music genres. Check out a sampling from Country Club here.

Last year, Silver ~ who lists Rage Against the Machine, Willie Nelson, and Snoop Dogg as the artists who most shaped him (and says that Kid Rock is his dream collaborator) ~ was also tapped as official DJ for the Tennessee Titans NFL team and performed live during home games at LP Field in Nashville. He ended the year by making his national TV debut on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” and served as house DJ for the American Country Awards in Las Vegas, performing throughout the telecast.

Silver has been at the forefront of this new explosion of country meets dance music for years and was recently name dropped in the New York Times and interviewed by the Washington Post about it. Another proud moment for the performer, who calls his music “Country Party Rock” or “Dee Jay Silver Country” and had needed to key in “country space remix” to describe his music on Soundcloud, was when he noticed that the outlet had made “Country Remix” a legitimate genre.
