Le Festival d’été de Québec To Announce 2014 Line-Up This Spring ~ Stay Tuned!
Alright, so January is almost over, and February is (thank goodness) a short month, and that’ll bring us to March, which means spring (I know, as a resident of New England I should realize by now that it only means the possibility of spring, but let’s be optimistic here, folks)…and then summer will be here before we can say “Le Festival d’été de Québec.”
This time ‘round I’m going to restrain myself and not bully you into reading my past articles about my obsession with the Festival (but do feel free to do a Search on it up there in the top righthand corner of the screen!)…but you’ll have to indulge me one Flashwounds article link so that you can read about an exciting new partnership between the Festival and another kickass summer festival up in Canada, The Amnesia Rockfest (so yeah, make sure your passport is up to date so that you don’t miss either one of these music extravaganzas): flashwounds.com/2014/01/15/amnesia-rockfest-announces-the-signing-of-an-agreement-with-the-festival-dete-de-quebec-and-major-changes-to-its-2014-edition.
Anyway, back to Le Festival…since it IS getting close to springtime, that means it also getting close to the time when the Festival organizers start announcing what is always a stellar line-up of performers in all different genres (right now they’re teasing us mercilessly with “…the 2014 line-up will be announced soon!”) from the heaviest of metal to EDM to jazz to pop to everything in between…stay tuned to Flashwounds for updates on who has signed on to rock your world this summer, and also keep checking infofestival.com for the mainstage artist line-ups, street performers, club shows, contests, and so much more. Like and join them on Facebook, check out some video on YouTube, and keep in touch on Twitter, too.
There are so many great festivals and shows coming our way in the US this summer, and we should all get to as many of them as possible, but do yourself a favor and experience the excitement and sheer musical magnitude of the Le Festival d’été de Québec, July 3 to 13.
