Apart From This Join Hindsight Records, Debut Album Out April 5.

Perth, Australia based independent label Hindsight Records are excited to announce that Melbourne’s Apart From This have joined their roster and will be releasing their debut album In Gloom through the label on April 5, 2013.

Over a year and a half in the making, In Gloom is the band’s strongest and most focused material to date. The band once again recorded and mixed the material with Sam Johnson (The Smith Street Band, 50 Lions, Anchors) at Three Phase Studios in Melbourne, and the mastering duties were then handed over to Bill Henderson (Daylight, Balance And Composure, Title Fight) at Azimuth Mastering in New Jersey.

A third new song from the album, “Once Bitten, Twice Shy,” can be heard here on the recently re-designed and re-launched Hindsight Records website. Along with the new song, the label is taking pre-orders for the new album, which are set to be shipping in the first week of April. Stay tuned for album launch dates, which will be announced shortly.

The band’s vocalist and guitarist Tim Maxwell says of the album and release through Hindsight, “We spent over a year on these songs and feel that our sound has matured majorly over a small amount of time. We’re also more than stoked to release In Gloom on Hindsight Records with our good friend Carl Diggins. Cannot wait for everyone to hear In Gloom, it has been a long time coming.”
