After unveiling their new, hard-hitting, true-to-form heavy rock single “Intoxicated” on Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx, one of the most widely-syndicated rock radio programs in the United States, the multi-platinum band is preparing to release their fifth studio album, When the Smoke Clears, on May 12 via The End Records/ADA.
Said lead vocalist Marshal Dutton about the first single from the album, “Great sex is like a drug. In fact, it can be downright intoxicating! We set out to charge this track with that same intensity.”

With over a decade-long career under their belts, and having honed their chops touring with the likes of Mötley Crüe, Nickelback, Aerosmith. and Papa Roach, Hinder’s has breathed new sound and new life into their ever-evolving sound with new lead vocalist Marshal Dutton and their upcoming album. The songs on When the Smoke Clears run the gamut from rowdy rock jams to subtle country influenced tracks to memorable pop hooks, all of which retain the DNA-distinct spirit of Hinder while revealing different sides of the band. Successfully walking the tightrope between genres, without a net, takes balls, but the band had a blast with it while creating the new album.
