bf

Brooklyn-based electronic dream-pop duo Blue Foundation is made up of producer/singer Tobias Wilner and multi-instrumentalist Bo Rande. Best known for their songs “Eyes on Fire,” which appeared in the Twilight saga and was certified double platinum in the US, and “Sweep,” bf2from Michael Mann’s Miami Vice, the band released their album In My Mind, I Am Free on their own Dead People’s Choice Records last year. The release was followed up in January 2013 by remix album In My Mind I Am Reconstructed, which is available via iTunes and other digital retailers.

Today, Blue Foundation shares a cinematic video for In My Mind, I Am Free track “Lost,” featuring songstress Sara Savery. According to Wilner, the video is “…about the connections between still photography and the moving image, with artistic reference to the French filmmakers of La Nouvelle Vague.” Shot over two days by Wilner and starring Sara Savery and Brooklyn-based actor Parviz Nor, you can check out the “Lost” ft. Sara Savery video where it premiered with VICE’s Noisey or HERE.

Over the past several years, Blue Foundation has expanded their audience, embracing both the underground and the alternative mainstream. Along with the Twilight Saga and Miami Vice, the band’s music has been featured on TV series including “The O.C.,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” “CSI:Miami,” and more.
