Threads Remixed EP out Next Week on Trans-Records
In anticipation of the March 25th digital release of their Threads Remixed EP, Minneapolis trio Now, Now have premiered the “School Friends (Ansible Remix)” via TheFADER.com. The EP presents fresh takes on songs from the band’s break out sophomore album Threads, which FADER described as occupying the “…heart-on-sleeve space between Tegan and Sara’s The Con and Sky Ferreira’s Night Time, My Time.” Other remix contributors include Field Mouse, Savoir Adore, Sombear (Brad Hale of Now, Now). The band are currently in the studio writing and recording their next LP.

Threads proved to be a watershed release for Now, Now, earning them their late night TV debut on Jimmy Fallon, and winning honors as one of NPR Music‘s top 50 albums of 2012 as well as accolades from Fader, The Onion AV Club, Alternative Press, Consequence of Sound, Paste, MTV Buzzworthy and many others. The band has spent the past two years touring North America and the UK alongside the likes of fun., Bob Mould, The Naked & Famous, Kevin Devine, Minus The Bear, and The Lonely Forest. They are currently in the studio working on a follow up full-length release.
