Kingdom

New EP Common Ground is Out Now!

With intense breakdowns, melodic choruses, explosive drums and a pounding low-end, KINGDOM COLLAPSE offers everything a fan of in-your-face metalcore could ever want. That being said, the band also appeals to fans of bands like Of Mice and Men, Bring Me The Horizon and Asking Alexandria, boasting a heavy active rock sound and positioning them as a band to watch. The scene needs a new group of fresh faces to represent the forefront of metal and rock, and KINGDOM COLLAPSE are just the band to do it.

Says guitarist Jonathan Norris,KINGDOM COLLAPSE’s sound is melodic, heavy riff-based modern metal with a catchy rock twist. We combine the heavy elements of metal with the dynamics and emotion of rock.

The band ~ Josh Wolford (Vocals), Cameron Huser (Bass/Clean Vocals), Michael Childress (Rhythm Guitar), Jonathan Norris (Lead Guitar), Hayden Allen (Drums) ~ hails from San Antonio, TX and is pleased to announce the independent release of their new EP, Common Ground. The EP was produced by the band and Jonny Hawkins (Nothing More) and mixed/mastered by Jake Bryant (dangerkids). You can order the EP now via iTunes here.

Today, the band is pleased to team up with HM Magazine to premiere a new track, “Dear Dad,” along with an accompanying lyric video.

“Regardless of what clothes you wear, your hair color, where you work, or what your interests are, we all have similar/common struggle. That’s how the Common Ground title came up for the EP,” explains vocalist Josh Wolford. “Although the EP is only 3 songs, the content covers a lot of ground (death, making life changing decisions, political issues). Myself and our guitarist Jonathan both lost our fathers at young ages, so we hope a song like ‘Dear Dad’ can touch home with anyone who has lost someone.”

Although the band has only been a collective unit since early last year, KINGDOM COLLAPSE has already shared the stage with today’s metal elite ~ like As I Lay Dying, We Came As Romans, Modern Day Escape, Taproot, Adrenaline Mob, and more.
