Three Days Grace Graces Us with a New Album and Single

3 Days Grace

Three Days Grace will release their new album Alienation on August 22nd. The album is the first with singer Matt Walst and returning vocalist Adam Gontier sharing vocal duties.  And for those of us who couldn’t wait, TDG has already shared their new single “Apologies”!

Listen to it (over and over, like we have) here

Addressing the shared vocals, Adam shared on the band’s FB page,” I feel like it’s been seamless, better than we were expecting. It’s like we got back in a room together and picked up where we left off. We have been friends for so long it’s kind of natural to get back in the room together.” Matt echoed that sentiment: “It’s been so much fun and inspiring making this record. Combining over 20 years of Three Days Grace and doing something that no band has ever done. I’m excited for the fans to hear it!”

3 days gggAbout the title of the new album, “Alienation is a journey through inner collapse and outward defiance ~ The songs reflect isolation as a condition of existence, not just circumstance. Some of what we write about ~ anxiety, addiction, heartbreak, disconnect, are often a different wave of the same storm. And yet, buried in all the wreckage is something human ~ still reaching out.” Drummer Neil Sanderson explained a bit about the title of “Apologies” with  “How it hurts more knowing someone did love you ~ just not enough to save you from yourself. Apologies don’t rewind time.”
