This Fostermother You’re Gonna Love
Fresh off playing the Gravitoyd DoomFest, Fostermother, the heavy rock/heavy pych band hailing from Houston, Texas, have already made quite an impression on fans and the music industry as well. They’re in demand at heavy festivals all over and have seen themselves voted onto some very prestigious lists both nationally and internationally:
Billy Goate, Editor of Doomed and Stoned, and John Gist of Vegas Rock Revolution placed the band at #9 on its “Host Segment II: Billy’s Top 10” for their track “Echo Manor.” They’re also on Doom Charts’ Top 100 Albums of 2024, which Fostermother describes as “…a massive, massive honor!” They landed on Outlaws of the Sun’s Best Albums of 2024, too, and that’s just a taste of the recognition the band’s album Echo Manor is getting.
“6 years ago we released our debut self-titled album, Fostermother. Soon after, we jumped into the stoner/doom scene making tons of new friends along the way.” Pretty sure it won’t be long until the band can look back at this quote and add, “The rest is history!”
Check out “Watchers”, “Wraith”, and “Empty One” from Echo Manor and let Fostermother take care of you.
