With six records under their belts since forming in 2008, four consecutive number #1 albums in their home country, and the fiercest line-up they’ve ever had, Finnish power/symphonic metal group Battle Beast has just released their latest single, “Last Goodbye.”  The track is the first taste of the band’s seventh album, due out later this year.

unnamed (2)Bassist Eero Sipilä shares the inspiration for the single: “The spark for ‘Last Goodbye’ was lit in the least rock ’n roll place imaginable: a hospital. In 2020, I spent a few weeks there and met an older woman battling cancer ~ a fight she’d been waging on and off since 1985. It made me wonder: how much can a person take before they give up? But she never did. She kept showing up, kept pushing through the treatments, kept being around. ‘Last Goodbye’ is a tribute to that human fighting spirit ~ the will to rise every time life knocks you down. As long as you’re breathing, you’re still in the game.”

Battle Beast’s European tour starts with a bang on October 17th with their biggest German headline show to date, Hamburg’s Inselpark Arena, and will keep the band on the road until mid-December. Zombie metal band Dominum will join the tour as their special guest and Sweden’s rising power metal force Majestica will serve as the opening act.

Battle Beast released Circus of Doom – Live in Helsinki 2023, their first live album, on April 11th via Nuclear Blast Records. Recorded in the Helsinki Ice Hall, mixed by the band’s “keytarist” Janne Björkroth and mastered at the legendary Finnvox by Mika Jussila, the massive live package of Circus of Doom – Live in Helsinki 2023 ~ with its 117 minutes of playing time, 15 songs, and stunning 24-page booklet displaying a series of striking photos by Jaakko Manninen and artwork by Jan Yrlund ~ perfectly captures the ambitious dystopian carnival show of the band’s past touring cycle. You can find it on all DSPs and as a Limited Edition CD plus Blu-ray Digipak
