Lionize to Release Alpha EP on 12/30
Lionize ~ Chris Brooks, keys, Henry Upton, bass, Chase Lapp, drums, Nate Bergman, guitar ~ shot to the top of FW’s “Shit, these guys fuckin’ rock” list pretty damn fast when we first caught them on a bill with Clutch ~ and that’s where they’ve stayed. The band is currently on The Getaway tour with Passafire, but come December 20th they’ll be releasing Alpha, which, in their words, is “…the first of 3 EPs to come. Major groove,” and they promise “More news on the way.” If December 20th seems like it’ll never get here, check out the album’s first single, “Dying is EZ,” right now via iTunes, Spotify, CD Baby, Amazon and other fine retailers.
Say the Maryland rockers, “Some bands crowd fund, some bands stop making music. We just turned it up as loud as it can go. Spread the word.”
