FEQ ~ When You’re the Best, Word Gets Out!

Editor’s Note: For those of you new to FlashWounds or even just too fried to put the proverbial two and two together after a long week at work, “FEQ” is pretty much how everyone refers to my beloved Festival d’ete de Quebec, so for once, I’m going to follow the crowd and call it that as well (What?  I’m being lazy?  I’ll have you know that the folks at the festival ever prefer that it be referred to that way, so there [but HELLO, what a time-saver!)!

 

best festival logoWe (and no doubt people across the globe) offer our sincerest congratulations to FEQ for making the 300 best festivals list for 2015 ~ it’s about time the rest of the world caught on to what we’ve known for years, that FEQ offers the best in music (from its huge outdoor venues to more intimate indoor stages), entertainment, exploration, and that all-around party vibe that is absolutely irresistible ~ as I’ve said since FlashWounds’ first time covering the phenomenal event, “Go once and you’ll be hooked for life!” (It’s no secret I am!)

best festivalsAnd seriously, this festival is the kind that literally gets into your psyche and gives you no choice but to make it an annual summer tradition for you, you and your friends, you and your significant other, or you and the whole family (FEQ is uber-family friendly and manages to plan a full schedule of events for really young kids to tweens AND do the same for teens and parents of all ages so that no-one is left wondering “But what am I supposed to do for fun?”  Where else can you experience 11 days of youth-oriented jugglers, dancers, interactive games, improve and more and then go see Foo Fighters, Megadeth, The Rolling Stones, and a total of 300 shows?)  FEQ is event planning/co-ordination at its best so their sponsors and the 300 Best List chose very wisely!
