Progressive instrumentalists SCALE THE SUMMIT have begun recording their fifth album, slated for release via Prosthetic Records this summer. The band will spend the next few weeks tracking new soundscapes of “…thrilling, expansive, technical prog…” (Prog Magazine) that will serve as the follow-up to their Billboard-charting, critically acclaimed 2013 release The Migration. Further details will be revealed in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to the band’s Facebook page for behind-the-scenes updates.

Since signing with Prosthetic in 2008, SCALE THE SUMMIT have released three celebrated and successful albums, and the accompanying tours saw them conquer stages with legendary acts including YES, Dream Theater, Cynic, and Devin Townsend, as well as modern heroes like Between The Buried and Me, Protest The Hero, Tesseract, Intronaut and Periphery. In addition, the group has earned high praise at high-profile festivals (Yestival, SXSW, Cruise to the Edge, Make Music Pasadena, ProgDay, Progtober) and counts in its ever-growing fan base both industry tastemakers and we regular folk!
