Front Row Pics: Buckcherry & Charm City Devils @ Jewel in Manchester, NH

This was my first time shooting at Manchester’s new Jewel Nightclub, and I must say it was a pleasant experience all around. The easy access, great setup, helpful staff and intimate atmosphere were all perfect complements to the killer line-up that night.

I mean, Buckcherry supported by Charm City Devils, with local favorites Leaving Eden and My Sister Will… doesn’t get much better than that, and my fellow fans clearly agreed.

Early highlights included Leaving Eden’s “Back To Boston” and My Sister Will (who joked that they “…drove all the way from Manchester…” to be with us) closing their set with “Watering Hole.”

Charm City Devils

Charm City Devils took the stage next and I was blown away ~ singer John Allen (read our interview with John here) nailed every note and made it seem easy, and his bandmates were right there with him, dishing out rock and roll the way it was meant to be served. They closed their with a badass cover of the Black Keys’ “I Got Mine” and left everyone wanting more. We at FlashWounds are very much looking forward to seeing these guys headline their own tour soon!

Buckcherry

By this time, energy and excitement had turned to frenzy and the crowd was begging for Buckcherry, who took no prisoners (as if they ever do!) by delivering a scorching set, off to a high-octane start with “Lit Up” and culminating in “Crazy Bitch” (watch the original, official video for this mega-hit here), “Say Fuck It,” and “Too Drunk.” 

The layout at the Jewel is such that you’re standing just three feet from the band, and the “He’s singing  just to me!” feeling played perfectly off the in-your-face style Buckcherry has elevated to a [sleazy, sexy, feels-just-dangerous-enough-to-titillate] art form to give us fans one hell of a night.
