Wind-up Records and TKO have announced the 2015 SNOCORE Tour itinerary featuring headliner Flyleaf, with Adelitas Way confirmed as direct support and Framing Hanley and Fit For Rivals opening the show.  The tour begins on February 3 at Amos South End in Charlotte, NC and wraps on the West coast mid-March.

ON-SALE GOES LIVE ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6 AT NOON VIA SNOCORE.COM

The SNOCORE Tour first launched close to two decades ago, and annually from 1996 to 2010 filled the void in touring activity during the winter months.  In its first year, SNOCORE showcased bands including Sublime, Less Than Jake, Guttermouth and Shankin’ Pickle. Over subsequent years, Blink-182, Incubus, Everclear, System of a Down, Seether, Shinedown and Alien Ant Farm ~ amongst others major names ~  participated in SNOCORE as well. Now, after the tour’s brief hiatus, Wind-up Records and TKO are proud to unite and bring SNOCORE back on to the road.

Flyleaf

Multi-platinum band Flyleaf (see our review and photos of their live performance here) released their fourth album, Between The Stars, on September 16, 2014.

The album, which was produced by Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, Avril Lavigne), debuted in the #1 spot on Billboard‘s Top Current Alternative Albums and has yielded their explosive lead single “Set Me On Fire,” which is making its way up the rock radio charts.  Flyleaf began over a decade ago with their self-titled debut platinum album that included their hit song “All Around Me,” which has sold over one million digital downloads. Flyleaf spent 133 weeks in the Billboard Top 200, Top 15 on the Rock Albums & Alternative Albums charts.  Its follow-up, Memento Mori, went Top 10 on the Billboard Top 200. Watch the video for the lead single “Set Me On Fire” here

Adelitas Way

Adelitas Way is a five-piece rock group hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada. Formed in 2005,they released their first full-length debut album on Capitol/Virgin Records in 2009 to rave reviews from Tunelab and other music blogs, debuting at #16 on Billboard’s Heat Seekers chart. The band has deepened their sound while staying true to the fierceness of their spirit with their new album Stuck, the follow-up to 2011’s Home School Valedictorian, which is the most refined yet thrillingly gritty album that Adelitas Way has offered up so far.

Framing Hanley

After spending 2 1/2 years working on their follow up to 2010’s A Promise To Burn, Framing Hanley released their 3rd album, The Sum of Who We Are, in April of 2014.  The lead single “Criminal” quickly reminded rock music fans everywhere of just who Framing Hanley is and what they can do, and the band picked up right where they’d left off.  Now on the heels of releasing what the band and many critics feel is their best album to date, Framing Hanley are primed to continue their rise to the top in the rock n roll scene.

From the second the inimitable growl of Fit For Rivals’ Renee Phoenix knocks you off your feet, you know you’re not witnessing a run-of-the-mill female frontwoman kicking ass.  Juxtaposed to their hard hitting music, this is band having a lot of fun in their own eccentric and stylish way, heightened by Renee’s dancing charisma and hard rock style infused with funky grooves.  Their new record Freak Machine is set for release in early 2015 in the wake of over 20 million YouTube views and live shows played to zealous audiences across the nation.

A FLYLEAF EXTRA!

Flyleaf BookWe’re used to seeing unauthorized biographies, tell-all autobiographies, books written by scorned ex-girlfriends, etc., but this may be the first time a proud grandfather has written a book honoring his grandson and the band in which he plays.

Carl Phelan, grandfather of Jared Hartmann, one of Flyleaf’s lead guitarists, penned Flyleaf Spreads Their Wings (Melviney Press) because “My wife Jackie and I are two of their biggest fans. This book is for all the fans of Flyleaf young and old, past, present and future!”

The book is now available via Amazon and other retailers worldwide in paperback and eBook editions. Signed hardcover and paperback copies are only available directly from the author at FlyleafBook.com.
