One Time Mountain Premieres Official Video for “So Scared” Exclusively via FlashWounds

One Time Mountain 2014

One Time Mountain 2014

Band made their debut  at Hard Rock Cafe in Boston this past Saturday, Nov. 29, playing their final show of 2014, and is now proud to reveal the exclusive world premiere of their new self-produced video “So Scared” via FlashWounds!

OTM Unburied

Creating the long-awaited video for the first single off their Unburied EP was a rewarding, deeply personal, and unifying experience as the video was filmed and produced entirely in-house. This time around, One Time Mountain decided to acquire their own equipment, do their own filming, and call on the skills of drummer Matt Valliere for overall production ~ a very different approach than they had taken on the previously released lyric video for the same track that also had its exclusive premiere on FlashWounds in April. Without further ado (except to say, “Congratulations!” to the guys), it is our honor to present to you the exclusive world premiere of One Time Mountain’s new video, “So Scared.”  Enjoy!

OTM hard rock debut (2)To coincide with the release of the video that is truly a labor of love for the band, One Time Mountain made their debut at the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston on Saturday, November 29, opening the night at 8pm with their final performance of the year.  Just days later, on December 2,  the band made their first appearance on Stone Chrome Radio on the “Sycho Sirens Radio Show.”

OTM is now taking a break from live performances to write and record a new album scheduled for release in 2015; it will be the first with newest members Matt Valliere (drums) and Milton Jones (bass). Matt and Milton joined One Time Mountain late spring 2014 and played their first OTM shows during the summer, when their fellow band members and audiences alike were witness to OTM becoming the cohesive, confident band it was meant to be.

More About One Time Mountain

Window Shaded

Window Shaded

Brought to life in late 2012 by members of Red Goodbye and Life Line, Boston-based One Time Mountain is one of the newest modern rock bands to come out of New England. Their style puts soaring melodies, expert musicianship, and abundant, contagious energy into one musical package that has been embraced by audiences from the start. But it was with their debut EP, Window Shaded, released in May 2013, that OTM revealed to the world just how much they had to offer in terms of range, writing, and knowing how to create rock music that did not fall prey to influence from the heavier genres that already flooded the market.

Right before their live debut in early 2013, One Time Mountain vowed to deliver their best performance to that night’s audience and to all future audiences, and they have never gone back on that promise, and “best” has only gotten better over time. Maintaining a steady show schedule and a substantial, interactive online presence, they sparked the attention of modern rock scenes across the globe; their tracks are often requested by listeners, and OTM receives airplay regularly on a host of FM and internet radio stations.

OTM endorseAfter a surprisingly successful first year that saw an ever-growing fan base, numerous performances, and the release of three music videos, One Time Mountain was nominated as Breakthrough Artist of The Year by Limelight Magazine in early 2014.  That kind of positive response (not to mention an endorsement or two), along with the public’s reaction to and their own pride in the Unburied CD, further inspired the band to expand its horizons by seeking out performance opportunities in unfamiliar cities and venues, bringing their music to all new audiences, while always returning to their “home turf” venues to play for the longtime fans they appreciate so much.

Andrew, Brian, Jeff, and Giuliano have, even at this relatively early stage in what will unquestionably be a lengthy career, a quality ~ a combination of passionate lyrics and delivery, excellent blending of vocals and instrumentation, a sound that is polished but not at the cost of losing its rock n roll edge, respective talents that come together (those of you familiar with Unburied will pick up on that little inside reference) seamlessly ~ that elevates One Time Mountain to a musical place which remains just out of the reach of true comparison.” ~ FlashWounds (Apr. 16, 2014)
