Lullwater To Tour With Flyleaf

Athens, GA Quartet Confirms Run as Direct Support to Flyleaf

Lullwater has confirmed that they will appear as direct support to Flyleaf for a run that begins in Lubbock, TX on October 3rd and wraps in San Diego on November 7.  The 26-date coast-to-coast tour is a continuation of the band’s commitment to spend the majority of 2014 on the road.  Lullwater front man John Strickland shares, “We are really excited to get back on the road this fall as direct support for Flyleaf.  Being a part of this six week run across the country is an incredible opportunity for Lullwater, and we all share a level of gratitude to all involved in the Flyleaf camp and the band members for opening this door.  I think the two bands will be a great fit, and I hope the fans have as much fun at the shows as I know we will.”

Lullwater released Lullwater on their own Dinobird label on September 17, 2013. Recorded and produced at London Bridge Studios, Seattle WA (Pearl Jam 10, Soundgarden Louder Than Love), the album has seen increasingly strong  sales and critical acclaim from journalists and industry tastemakers.  Lullwater is a band that organically and without ego combines talent with passion, honesty, drive, and perseverance. Diligence and the ability to form pure connections with anyone they encounter, especially audiences and fellow musicians, has brought the band to where they are now, posed for national .  This raw, thought provoking rock has placed them on that cusp of garnering that elusive coast to coast notoriety.

“If the Foo Fighters threw their name on this album and released it as their own, it’d be at the very least the rock album of the year if not the album of the year.” ~ Zoiks

“From the very first track “Oddline” to the last track “Hello” the album has so much raw power, energy, and emotion.” ~ Cryptic Rock

“In another year or two, they’ll be sounding like the 70s bands that did grab it. Kids that want to rock will know this is the real deal from that first kick drum strike. Well done.” ~ Midwest Record

“Lullwater is taking me back to the heyday of alternative rock and roll without feeling tired or redundant. Instead, it feels like I just found undiscovered vintage vinyl.” ~ Maine Music News

“The influences of alternative bands like, Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters are apparent and their quality musicianship is going to put these guys on the map in the next year.” ~ Hardrock Haven
