Meet SnakeyeS … A Lucky Find for Any Fan of True Classic Heavy Metal

SnakeEyes

SnakeyeS ~ Cosmin Aionita – vocals, Jose Pineda – rhythm and bass guitars, Justi Bala – lead guitars, Carlos Delgado – drums ~ released Welcome To The Snake Pit, their debut promotional EP that includes three songs written by José Pineda and Cosmin Aionita and produced, mixed and mastered by José Pineda (the recording line-up for Welcome To The Snake Pit was completed by guitar player Justi Bala, who handled all guitar solos on the EP, and Carlos Delgado) and immediately became a favorite of the international press. Paying homage to the greats like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dio, and Accept while bringing that power and passion into the present day, it’s no wonder they’ve already received reviews like these based on, remember, just a 3 song debut EP!

Metal-Temple.com Rating - 9/10 “It’s just the old and good traditional Heavy Metal, but with a modern approach, pulsing strong and with tons of energy, but with aggressiveness and melodic moments, with great Halfordian vocals, powerful riffs and solos, and strong and heavy bass and drums work. It’s a great injection of Metal inside our ears.”

Thefrontrowreport.com (USA) – Rating: 9/10 ” There are few bands today who use the “classic” metal approach and style. There are shades of it in many bands’ music but few are a straight-up classic metal band.SnakeyeS are one of those bands.”

Heavyparadise.com (Greece) – Rating: 9/10 “The sound of Snakeyes is pure classic heavy metal with powerful vocal lines, a big and fat guitar sound, a solid rhythm section and a strong production” Skullbanger.net (Finland) “When listening to this 4 song ep I am reminded strongly of ‘Painkiller’ era Judas Priest.”

Metal.de (Germany) – 7/10 “Snakeyes plays “flawless Heavy Metal”, in the style of JUDAS PRIEST, HALFORD , also PRIMAL FEAR and BEYOND FEAR have left their mark on the sound.. “

Rockoverdose.gr (Greece) – 80/100 “This is what every metalhead who respects himself wants to hear.”

Allaroundmetal.com (Italy) – Rating: 3,5/5 “Shadow Warriors, the combo pushes the gas pedal even further, providing a track that wouldn’t be out of place (modern production aside) on the legendary Painkiller album.”

Metalhead.it (Italy) – Rating 7,5/10 “equally divided between German influences (in a tight opener “Time of Dismay” there I hear a lot of Primal Fear) and American (the tail piece “Shadow Warriors” got me thinking about the best Iced Earth, in the middle, the Accept style “Snake Pit”).”

Hardrock.info (Sweeden) – “Snake eyes watching you. Take one look and die”. ..I couldn’t resist. This is a band who play good old heavy metal just the way we all want.”
