Dessa Releases “Fighting Fish” (The Hood Internet Remix) Video
On Tour This Fall Supporting Why?
Today marks the release of the official video for “Fighting Fish” (The Hood Internet Remix) on The Walker Arts Center website.
The track can be found on the recently released Parts of Speech, Re-Edited remix EP put out this June, one year after the release of the critically acclaimed Parts of Speech. The video, directed by Isaac Gale and David Jensen, is the companion video to the original “Fighting Fish” visual.
Starting this week, Dessa will be heading out on tour and will join up with WHY? later in the month. On this tour the refined rap experimentalism of WHY? will be showcased along with the transcendent wit, lyrical mastery, and confident flow of the Minneapolis based Dessa, a longtime member of the indie hip hop collective Doomtree.
