Doomtree Release New Track “.38 Airweight”

Doomtree

Doomtree announced the release of their new track, “.38 Airweight,” today on The Current.  The song, featuring all crew members, is the first new music they’ve released as a collective since 2011’s critically acclaimed No Kings album. Lazerbeak explains, “We’ve been in the studio making a ton of songs with a new album in mind and are really pumped about how things are turning out. Wanted to drop this leaker track off early while it’s still fresh to let people know we’re getting back at it.”

The track is available for download on iTunes and Bandcamp and streaming on SoundCloud and YouTube.

Doomtree book
The whole crew will be playing the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand on 8/30 in St. Paul.  Prior to that, on 8/26, Every Single Day, a 500 page full-color book including over ten years of behind-the-scenes photos, artworks, artifacts, and inside jokes will be released and is available for pre-order right now.  Each pre-order includes the limited-edition hardcover book signed by all seven members of the crew, plus a 22-track Best of False Hopes CD featuring rare, unreleased, and out-of-print songs from Doomtree’s early years.

For a closer look at the book, check out Story Time, where various members of the group reminisce over some ridiculously old photos.
