Heavy metal legend Philip Anselmo and best-selling true crime author Corey Mitchell’s groundbreaking horror-meets-metal extravaganza, the Housecore™ Horror Film Festival, had already released a slew of jaw-dropping additions to this year’s lineup (Round 1), and now they’re coming at us with an even bigger announcement: they are very proud to welcome on board the legendary Glenn Danzig, who will treat fans to a U.S. exclusive combined headline performance of immortal classics from both Danzig and Samhain!

Darkest Horror of MorellaAnselmo stated of his good friend Danzig, “Glenn has taken me under his (black) wings since I was a young upstart in the music (horror) business and he’s a cool mofo!”

Danzig, a longtime horror enthusiast, has expressed his affection for the genre for more than 35 years via his various groundbreaking horror-themed musical acts The Misfits, Samhain, and his eponymous solo project, Danzig. In addition, the horrortrepeneur darkens the minds of the impressionable with his subversive underground horror comic book publishing company, Verotik, which includes titles like “Satanika,” “The Darkest Horror of Morella,” and “Grub Girl.”

The mighty Neurosis will be bringing their monolithic slabs of crushing catharsis to HHFF’s stage for a rare and exclusive performance. They will be joined by Polish death metal icons Decapitated (see our article on the band’s new album track listing here, old-school Australian thrash titans Hobbs’ Angel Of Death, and the Godfather of dark ambient himself, Lustmord,  who has worked with The Melvins, Tool, Puscifer, Isis, and Coil (to name but a few) and is known as a sound designer on several films including cult classics The Crow and Underworld. This performance will mark Lustmord’s fourth show ever in the United States in his more than 30-year career.

In addition, attendees can expect to be bludgeoned by a horde of bloody upstarts.
