North American Tour Launches Tonight, June 5, in Denver, and Includes Budweiser “Made in America” Labor Day Weekend Festivals Appearances
Producer Gareth Emery lunges out with “Javelin” from Drive, his second studio album (on Garuda). Available now via Beatport, the instrumental track features producer Ben Gold, who also collaborated with Emery on the 2011 release “Flash.” “Javelin” is a soaring progressive cut bathed in glorious synths that will be the highlight of any major dancefloor set.

At his last U.S. appearance at Coachella, fans warmly embraced Emery, flooding the massive Sahara Tent both weekends as he captivated onlookers with major grooves and euphoric melodies. Emery now returns to the fold on a nationwide tour this spring. Starting tonight (6/5) in Denver, the tour includes stops in Calgary, Vancouver, Chicago, Washington, DC, Miami and San Francisco. The artists is also confirmed to appear at both the Philadelphia and Los Angeles Budweiser Made In America Festivals in late August. The complete tour routing follows below.
The inspiring story behind Drive ~ which hit #1 on iTunes’ Dance Chart in both the U.S. and Canada, and #27 on the overall chart upon its April 1 release ~ comes from Emery’s 3000-mile adventure across the Oklahoma/ Texas border on Old Route 66. With his deep and purposeful musicality, adept songwriting skills, and ability to convey emotion through sound, Emery has created a unique blend of house, trance and electro that he explores fully throughout the album. Other releases from Drive include the beautiful and ethereal “U,” featuring Bo Bruce, and the full bodied Beatport Top 10 club banger “Lights and Thunder” with Krewella.
