Summer. Uncle Eddie’s @ Salisbury Beach. The Music of Johnny Cash. You Do the Math!

A Boy Named Sue

Join A Boy Named Sue and friends (theirs and yours!) at the beach to celebrate the beginning of summer (oh, aren’t those glorious words!) with the music of Johnny Cash!

The good (and cheap…just $5 for the show!) times are 21+ and doors are at 9pm on June 7 at Uncle Eddie’s, which all of us on the East Coast (and from even farther away) know is the coolest oceanside destination for just kicking back, having a couple of drinks (Do I need to remind everyone not to drink and drive, please?), and listening to great bands all summer long (and you never know who’s going to drop by this famous little hotspot ~ Bret Michaels certainly made himself at home) ~ you couldn’t ask for a more perfect rock-n-roll, let’s-get-a-little-wild, forget-your-worries, everyone’s-family, it’s-all-good vibe.

UncleIf you’ve never been to Uncle Eddie’s, “The little bar with the BIG sound,” first, you HAVE to head to their Facebook page to check out the pix ~ this show is all about A Boy Named Sue (Jeff Royds, lead vocals/ guitar, Cassandra Royds ~ female vocals, George Moomjian ~ drums, Glen Selmi ~ bass, Mark McKellar ~ electric guitar…that’s right, a pretty awesome line-up of some very familiar names!) and you’re going to love them, but there have been some other events at Uncle Eddie’s over the years that have yielded some very…noteworthy…photos that do a great job of capturing the essence of what makes Uncle Eddie’s a legend,  and second, you need to make sure to bring cash, ‘cause credit cards just don’t cut it at Uncle Eddie’s.
