Today, Southern California rock band Of Mice & Men revealed a new music video for their song “Would You Still Be There,” directed by Nathan Cox for Renaissance Man Productions. “Would You Still Be There” is featured on the band’s new release Restoring Force, which hit stores on January 28 via Rise Records and is available to purchase and stream now. Mice video crop“I’m super excited for the debut of our new video for ‘Would You Still Be There,'” said  Aaron Pauley, the band’s bassist and clean vocalist. “Directed by Nathan Cox, who has worked with bands like Linkin Park and Chevelle, the video offers a peek into a present day small town set in an alternate post-apocalyptic reality, and it’s gas mask clad inhabitants. Shooting the video was a great experience. Nathan and his staff did an incredible job with the imagery and location, and created a believable setting in an abandoned mining town north of LA. Despite chipping my tooth on that pesky vintage microphone, I had a blast, and it was awesome getting to hang with some of our fans; which can be seen in the video’s ending performances parts.”

Mice 2Restoring Force debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart, scanning over 50,000 copies in its first week (marking the band’s best opening sales week and the highest charting album of their career). The album also debuted as the No. 1 album on the Hard Music, Independent Albums, LP Vinyl, and Top Internet charts, No. 2 on the Rock chart, and No. 3 on the Digital Albums chart. In recent months the band has graced recent covers of Alternative Press, Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Substream, Outburn, and New Noise… with more to come.

The new album is the follow up to the band’s 2011’s acclaimed release The Flood, which solidified the California-based five-piece as a leading force in modern heavy music. Restoring Force was recorded at House of Loud in New Jersey and produced by David Bendeth (Paramore, Papa Roach, A Day To Remember, Breaking Benjamin).

Of Mice & Men recently wrapped up their massive American Dream Tour with Bring Me The Horizon as well as overseas dates. This weekend the band will perform at the Rock On The Range Festival in Columbus, OH followed by South American dates. In July they will return to the Vans Warped Tour.
