Band’s Artery Recordings Debut Through Art We Are All Equals Lands June 24
Slaves, the new project of Jonny Craig (Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa), have premiered another brand new song from their much-anticipated debut Through Art We Are All Equals, out June 24 via Artery Recordings. Check out “The Upgrade PT II” and its accompanying lyric video at ARTISTdirect.
The track is initially haunting, kicking off with a metallic crunch before spiraling into a swirl of lush instrumentation topped by Craig’s inimitable vocals.
As ARTISTdirect said, “Slaves turn dreamscapes into heavy alternative bliss unlike anything else out there. Welcome to one of the year’s best pieces of Art.” If that is not a compliment of the highest order, we don’t know what is!
