Kissing Candice ~ New EP + Mini-Tour

Aw, “Kissing Candice,” what a great name for a band…it’s sweet, brings to mind tender moments with your special someone, and is TOTALLY, FUCKING MISLEADING, just the way THEY WANTED IT TO BE!!!

Flashwounds will be bringing you an interview with band founder and ex-Dr. Acula keyboardist Joey Simpson soon, but for those of you unfamiliar with Kissing Candice, get over to their Facebook page, (where you WILL give them a “Like”), click on “Listen” to stream their new EP Conjured via Spotify (and then you can head here to purchase your own copy on iTunes), and take a look at their bio, which contains phrases like “[combining] metal, hardcore, industrial and electronic music in a unique and cinematic fashion,” “…invited to open up both days of Slipknot’s two day festival Knotfest,” “ fog, lights, and gallons of blood,”  “supporting Snow White’s Poison Bite,” “providing direct support to Bam Margera (Fuckface Unstoppable),” “banging your fucking head,” and…”Pizza?”  Yeah, one of those things is definitely not like the others, but actually, it does in a strange way speak to the diversity of the band and its talent…they are without question hard and…well, sometimes bloody, but the different elements they incorporate make for a very unique, not-your-typical louder = better metal sound.  Sure, Kissing Candice may bite your face off, but before you go into shock, you’ll be impressed by the way they do it.
