Miasmal and Vampire Release Limited Split 7″
Sweden’s MIASMAL and VAMPIRE released a split 7″ (on heavy vinyl) at their showcase together with MORBUS CHRON on April 5th in Gothenburg; some copies have been saved for fans who couldn’t attend this show. To purchase this very limited 7″, head over to CM Distro.
This special 7″ features two exclusive, previously unreleased tracks from each band. MIASMAL’s track “Queen Of The Poisoned Realm” was recorded during the Cursed Redeemer session; VAMPIRE’s track, “The Night It Came Out Of The Grave,” is a re-recorded version of a song that was originally featured on the band’s demo.
MIASMAL will be releasing their upcoming album, Cursed Redeemer, on April 21st in Europe and May 13th in North America via Century Media Records. Recorded in no more than 7 days with Fredrik Nordström at the mighty Studio Fredman (At The Gates, Opeth, Wolfpack, Agrimonia, Martyrdod), MIASMAL’s sophomore effort continues the band’s goal of unleashing straight-forward death metal upon the masses. For a preview of Cursed Redeemer, be sure to check out the track “Until The Last.” To pre-order the album in a variety of available formats, please visit CM Distro.
VAMPIRE recently released their self-titled debut worldwide via Century Media Records. Featuring 10 old school, blackened-death metal tracks that “…make the cross-generational/genre mélange unique, menacing in march and venomous in voice…” (Decibel Magazine.com), Vampire has taken the metal community by storm. For a preview of the album, be sure to check out the track “The Fen.”
To purchase Vampire, please visit iTunes for a digital copy or CM Distro for a variety of formats.
