Band confirmed to play Copenhell in June, Deathwish Fest shows with Converge in July
Three years after the release of their acclaimed Prosthetic debut Darker Handcraft (the best-selling vinyl release in the label’s 16-year history), the death punk / filth rock quartet TRAP THEM has announced the title of its long-awaited follow-up ~ Blissfucker. Due June 10, the album was recorded with longtime collaborator Kurt Ballou (Converge, Skeletonwitch) ~ who even played a bit of slide guitar on the album ~ last year and mastered by Jack Control (Darkthrone, Mammoth Grinder). A new song will premiere tomorrow; stay tuned for further details.
TRAP THEM has also announced three summer festival performances ~ a June appearance at Denmark’s Copenhell (where the band will perform alongside Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Behemoth and more), and two July dates in Boston, where the group will support Converge at the inaugural Deathwish Festival. Tickets to the latter, to be held at The Sinclair, go on sale Friday, April 11 here.
