Samuel Adams Brewer and Founder Jim Koch Hosts Event to Benefit Marathon Survivors

 Beer, Brewers, and Bravery ~ Supporting Survivors as Only Boston Can

Sam Adams Boston BreweryThe brewers of Samuel Adams beer are inviting craft beer lovers and the Boston community to their Boston Brewery on Wednesday, March 26 for a fundraiser featuring this year’s Boston 26.2 Brew, the commemorative beer specially brewed by Samuel Adams and released annually to celebrate the runners and spectators of the Boston Marathon.

Greg Hill CropLast year, Samuel Adams committed to donating all of the profits from the sale of the beer to The Greg Hill Foundation, which provided immediate support to survivors of the Boston Marathon tragedy and their families.  This year, the brewery is continuing that commitment and again will donate all profits from the sale of Boston 26.2 Brew, and from this event, to the ongoing needs of the survivors and their families.

 

WHO:          Jim Koch, Samuel Adams Brewer and Founder / Greg Hill, founder of The Greg Hill Foundation and host of WAAF’s Hill-Man Morning Show / Families impacted by the 2013 Boston Marathon and the community that supports them

 

WHEN:           Wednesday, March 26, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

 

WHERE:         Samuel Adams Boston Brewery, 30 Germania Street, Boston, MA

 

WHAT:      A fundraiser to support The Greg Hill Foundation and the families, friends, and participants impacted by the 2013 Boston Marathon . Tickets are  available HERE, and the price includes a growler of Boston 26.2 Brew, samples of Samuel Adams beers, a commemorative pint glass and bottle opener, and great food catered by Texas Roadhouse ~ all for a very special cause.
