The fourth album trailer for The Life And Times Of Scrooge, the debut soundtrack by NIGHTWISH composer & keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen, is now available for viewing on YouTube.

Shot by director Ville Lipiäinen (NIGHTWISH, 30 SECONDS TO MARS, HIM), Tuomas Holopainen discusses his mind-blowing moments on this musical project and his new insight into being star struck.

Fourteen years in the making from concept to reality and called “…my favorite fictional story of all time…” by Holopainen, The Life And Times Of Scrooge will be released in North America on April 15th  and is based on writer & illustrator Don Rosa’s graphic novel The Life And Times Of Scrooge McDuck.

The soundtrack was recorded at Angel Studios in London plus various locations around Scotland & Finland and features four guest vocalists ~ Finland’s Johanna Kurkela, Tony Kakko of SONATA ARCTICA, Johanna Iivanainen, and Alan Reid.

Musical guests include: The London Orchestra, the Metro Voices choir from London, NIGHTWISH’s Troy Donockley (uilleann pipes, low whistles, bodhran), Mikko Iivanainen (guitars & banjo), Teho Majamäki (didgeridoo), Jon Burr (harmonica), and Dermot Crehan (solo violin).
