Singer/Songwriter Jamey Johnson to Play Indian Ranch

Singer/Songwriter Jamey Johnson returns to the stage at Indian Ranch in Webster, MA on Sunday, June 29 at 2pm.

Jamey cropJohnson’s most recent album, a duet tribute album to songwriter Hank Cochran titled Living for a Song: A Tribute to Hank Cochran continues to draw attention. When word got out that he was recording a tribute album to beloved songwriter Hank Cochran, musical superstars clamored to participate. From the ranks of the Country Music Hall of Fame came George Strait, Emmylou Harris, Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Ray Price and Vince Gill, not to mention Cochran’s oldest and truest friend, Willie Nelson. Veteran stars Leon Russell, Elvis Costello, Bobby Bare and Asleep at the Wheel perform on the album alongside contemporary artists such as Alison Krauss, Lee Ann Womack and Ronnie Dunn.

Johnson has always achieved critical acclaim and success throughout his career. HIs 2008 release That Lonesome Song featured the hit single “The High Cost of Living” as well as “In Color,” which won the Country Music Association Music Awards Song of the Year. His ambitious double album The Guitar Song has received universal praise.

Indian Ranch offers music lovers a chance to see some of the greatest country, roots rock, classic rock and pop bands steps from Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg. Nestled between pine trees, the amphitheater offers the ability to see the stage from anywhere in the audience.
