Kiss & Def Leppard ~ The World’s Biggest Rock Bands Set to Tour This Summer

This summer, two of the world’s greatest rock bands, KISS and DEF LEPPARD, are set to deliver a massive tour dedicated to fans who wanna rock and roll all night! These two legendary rock bands spanning two continents announced today that they will launch the tour as KISS celebrates their 40th year in music. The summer’s biggest hit-fuelled rock tour, promoted exclusively by Live Nation, will storm through 40-plus cities throughout North America, kicking off on Monday, June 23 in West Valley City, UT at the USANA Amphitheatre.

KISS and Def Leppard jointly decided to support our heroes and honor their dedicated fans in the armed services by partnering with numerous military organizations for the tour. Partnerships will include the USO, Hiring Our Heroes, Project Resiliency/The Raven Drum Foundation, August Warrior Project and the Wounded Warrior Project. All military personnel will be given exclusive access to discounted tickets for the tour with their own pre-sale through; they also participated in the tour launch announcement featuring a live-streamed Q&A with members of both bands in Los Angeles, California at the House Of Blues on Monday, March 17. Military charities will receive a portion of ticket sales with the money raised being split amongst all the non-profit organizations participating with the summer tour.

WarriorAugusta Warrior Project (AWP)

  • 501 (c) 3 nonprofit that connects Warriors (past and present military) with existing resources to meet critical needs such as housing, education and healthcare

  • Helps all Warriors – both serving military and veterans of both pre- and post-9/11 eras.
  • Help may also extend to families of Warriors, and Warriors do not need to have been wounded to qualify
  • Operates by a four-step plan to improve the lives of Warriors and their families:

    • Educate Warriors on resources available to them
    • Advocate to ensure Warriors have access to needed and earned resources
    • Collaborate with all organizations to ensure focus

ResiliencyProject Resiliency

  • Mission is to serve, educate and empower veterans and people in crisis
  • Provides holistic healing education programs for wounded warriors and their families that are living with post-combat injuries and post-traumatic stress.
  • Programs serve participants through teaching somatic, contemplative, and practical tools of managing and healing the debilitating symptoms of PTSD.
  • Project Resiliency is a program of the Raven Drum Foundation which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2001 by Rick Allen, drummer for Def Leppard, and Lauren Monroe Allen MA, LMT healing arts practitioner and educator.
