Texas In July Announces Spring Tours: US Headliner with Structures and Canadian Run with Unearth
Band Reveals In-Studio Video Series with New Vocalist JT Cavey
Texas In July will head out on a US headline tour, with support from Structures, Erra (4/22-4/27), Myka, Relocate (4/29-5/10), and Elitist. The tour will follow their recently announced Canadian tour, supporting Unearth and Winds of Plague, and their performances at the 2014 New England Metal and Hardcore Fest and Eat Your Heart Out Fest.
Vocalist JT Cavey, who performed with Texas In July on their recent run with The Devil Wears Prada and on the Vans Warped Tour this past summer, was just recently announced as an official member of Texas In July. The band’s announcement and introduction to Cavey can be found on The Official Texas In July Youtube Channel.
In addition to the announcement video, Texas In July has launched a series of in-studio videos, filmed as the band recorded their fourth full-length album with producers Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland in Lancaster, PA. The first two videos, including a new one that is premiering today, can be seen HERE.
Texas In July’s new album will be out later this year on Equal Vision Records.
“Going into this next run with JT being officially announced is extremely exciting. It’s something that has been long awaited on our end, as well as our fans. We now have the opportunity to really share the new and improved TIJ, and what a better way than touring all throughout Canada and the US,” shares Texas In July bassist Ben Witkowski. “We’re really looking forward to meeting and talking with fans along the road about our recent changes! April can’t come any sooner!”
Cavey adds, “It is impossible to express my excitement to begin this tour through words, so I will channel my passion, as I have before, through my performances. I know we, as a band, have been longing to show old and new fans what the new Texas In July line-up is all about. We want to leave every pair of eyes and ears with a whole new intensity and fulfillment that you have never experienced from us before.”
Tickets for the Canadian tour are on sale now, while tickets for Texas In July’s headline tour will go on sale this Friday and will include a VIP option, where fans will have a chance to personally meet the band and really get to know Cavey for the first time.
