Georgia’s Vanderfest 2014 ~ Rock n Roll for a Cause
Wondering what you’ll be doing on March 29th? Well, wonder no more, we can tell you exactly what you will be doing…or at least what you SHOULD be doing. You’ll be having a blast at Vanderfest 2014 at the Thomasville Exchange Club Fairgrounds in Thomasville, GA…and while you’re taking in 19 bands on 2 stages (and can we just take a minute to mention that Full Devil Jacket, one of our newest favorite bands ~ you can read our review of their new album Valley of Bones here ~ will be co-headlining the Fest, and this may just be your last chance to see them before touring and becoming The Next Big Thing fills up their schedule for years to come), you’ll also be doing something incredibly important ~ just by showing up for a good time and paying the absurdly low cover (see poster for details), you’ll be supporting Give Kids the World (please check out the wonderful work this organization does by visiting gktw.org) and their Give Kids the World Village…and seriously, can you think of anything better than helping out such a great cause WHILE enjoying yourself at a party?
Our hats are off to the creators of Vanderfest, to the bands, sponsors, and to everyone who has helped spread the word about the event (which we encourage you to do, too).
