Excision’s Mind-Blowing 2014 Tour Comes to Boston, MA on Thursday, March 27 at House of Blues
Canadian dubstep pioneer Excision will be taking over Boston’s House of Blues on Thursday, March 27 only weeks after wrapping the final string of Destroid live shows for 2013. His 2014 tour includes over 55 dates that take him across North America through the end of April. Supporting Excision on this tour is the French drum and bass DJ team Dirtyphonics and the Canadian glitch-hop guru Ill Gates.
In conjunction with the tour, Excision has been releasing a series of singles ~ starting with “Get Stupid,” a collaboration with Louisville, KY-based producer Space Laces. The track is available on Destroid Music. Listen to it now via Billboard.com.
To kick off the tour, Excision offered a free download of “Rock You,” a take on the Queen classic “We Will Rock You” in collaboration with fellow Canadian producer Downlink. His 2014 tour is proving to be his most extensive and most immersive tour experience to date, as he has elevated all aspects of the production to whole new level, bringing a monstrous 150,000 watts of PK sound, systems that have become an integral part of the Excision experience.
The 2014 tour also marks the return of the 28 foot wide, 15 foot tall mammoth video and lighting installation known as The Executioner. This custom crafted stage behemoth was specifically designed for Excision’s 3D video mapped visual sequences as he DJs both music and video live on stage. The Executioner is fully recharged and has returned as Excision’s on-stage bass bunker, complete with brand new 3D visual animations displayed across its 420 square feet of surface area. This technological audio video monstrosity is equipped with various sliding panels and pneumatics to hide lasers, fog machines, an extensively upgraded lighting system and more than a few surprises yet to be revealed. One thing that will come as no surprise, though, is that the entire spectacle will blow your mind from start to finish…and beyond.
