Skeletonwitch: Forever Abomination Picture Discs Coming in March

Fresh from Amon Amarth tour, band preps for first-ever gigs in Asia, Australia 

SKELETONWITCH has announced a re-pressing of their 2011 Billboard-charting release Forever Abomination ~ hailed by Terrorizer as “…a career-defining album, and a masterclass in modern metal” ~ on picture disc LP, scheduled for release on March 18. Limited to 500 copies, only 150 will be available via the Prosthetic North American webshop, while another handful will be available via Prosthetic’s European webshop. The remaining copies will be distributed via your local record store or online distribution shop.

Featuring cover art by Andrei Bouzikov (Toxic Holocaust, Holy Grail), Forever Abomination was produced by Grammy Award-winner Matt Hyde (Slayer, Childen of Bodom, Deftones) and was the blackened metal group’s first record with drummer Dustin Boltjes. In addition to tours with Arch Enemy, The Black Dahlia Murder and Nile, the band rigorously supported the album by headlining 63 shows in just 65 days before heading back to the studio to track their groundbreaking follow-up Serpents Unleashed with Kurt Ballou (Converge) earlier this year. 

Having just completed a triumphant trek throughout North America in support of Amon Amarth, SKELETONWITCH will next bring their “gloriously intense” (SD City Beat) live show overseas this April. The band will play their first-ever shows in Asia before heading down under to join Toxic Holocaust throughout New Zealand and Australia.
