Exmortus Displays Neo-Classical Chops on Beethoven Instrumental

Metal shredders Exmortus ~ who this weekend will kick off three months of extensive touring with the likes of Dark Tranquillity, Destruction and Krisiun ~ have unveiled a brand new track from their upcoming Prosthetic Records full-length debut, Slave To The Sword, due Feb. 4. “Moonlight Sonata (Act 3),” the band’s interpretation of the famous Beethoven composition, can be streamed exclusively on Invisible Oranges by clicking HERE.
Recorded at Castle Ultimate Studios in Oakland, Calif with Zack Ohren (All Shall Perish, Suffocation, Immolation), Slave To The Sword has already started racking up critical acclaim, earning a perfect rating from Outburn Magazine (who described the album as “a song-centric demonstration of thrash/death intensity and memorable trad(itional) metal songwriting…”). The album, which features 10 rousing tracks, is currently available for pre-order via the Prosthetic webshop HERE on CD, Audio Cassette, and 12″ LP (black and mail-order exclusive blood red variants available) in packages along with an exclusive t-shirt featuring the stunning cover art by Philip Lawvere (Celtic Frost, Kreator)!
