The third annual HOLY SHIP!!! critically acclaimed electronic music cruise aboard the MSC Divina and produced in conjunction with HARD Events, Cloud 9 Adventures and The Bowery Presents, will set sail from Miami Thursday, January 9 through Sunday, January 12, 2014. Many key artists of the electronic music genre, including SKRILLEX, DUCK SAUCE, BOYS NOIZE, ZEDD, LAIDBACK LUKE, ZEDS DEAD, DISCLOSURE (DJ set) along with special guest PHARRELL WILLIAMS with many more, are confirmed. Today, the organizers of HOLY SHIP!!! have announced details of the cruise’s themed nights and line-ups for the on board and beach parties, as well as are offering an official mix tape from performer Maceo Plex.
Each night of HOLY SHIP!!!’s sail from Miami around the Bahamas features different themed parties of music. For the launch on Thursday, January 9, the Black & White Lounge aboard the MSC Divina features a night by LA-based labels Body High and WEDIDIT with Shlomo (DJ set), RL Grime, Samo Soundboy, Ryan Hemsworth, Jerome LOL and special guests. On Friday, January 10, also in the Black & White Lounge, Boysnoize Records takes over with the BNR party with Boys Noize, Destructo, Djedjotronic and Strip Steve.
Saturday, January 11 marks the return of the Third Annual Fool’s Gold Rap Party with A-Trak, Baauer, RL Grime, Just Blaze, Green Lanter and The Boogieman (Brodinski hip-hop set) in the Divina’s Pantheon Theater. That same night in the ship’s Galaxy Disco, HARD cruise director Gary Richards will host his Destructo & Friends party with Chromeo (DJ set), Skream, Brodinski, Destructo, Alex Metric, Oliver, Amine Edge & Dance, French Fries, Jerome LOL and a very special surprise guest.
During the day, there will be private island beach parties. On Friday, January 10, cruisers can party down on the beach of Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas to sets by Boys Noize, Disclosure (DJ set), Armand Van Helden, Destructo and Gordon City. On Saturday, January 11, the boat will dock at Coco Cay, Bahamas for another beach extravaganza with Skrillex, Diplo, A-Trak, Dillon Francis, Ryan Hemsworth and special guest Pharrell Williams.
In conjunction with the announcement, HOLY SHIP!!! performer Maceo Plex has made available a rare and exclusive mix for what he calls the “Holiest of Vessels!” Says Plex about the mix, “Located deep within the circuitry of a mechanical alien host known as Maetrik you will find a complex web of synaptic dispersements resembling what could be called a soul.
