George Thorogood and the Destroyers & The Charlie Daniels Band Announce Indian Ranch Dates for 2014!
It’s time to start thinking SUMMER CONCERTS!
Indian Ranch in Webster, MA has just announced the first two shows of the 2014 concert season. George Thorogood and the Destroyers will take the stage at Indian Ranch on Sunday, June 22 at 2PM and the Charlie Daniels Band returns Sunday, September 14 at 2PM. Both shows go on-sale this Saturday, December 7 at 10AM.
Celebrating “40 Years Strong, ” George Thorogood has a long list of hits including”Bad to the Bone,” “Move It On Over,” “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer,” “I Drink Alone,” “Get A Haircut,” You Talk Too Much, “as well as his cover of Bo Diddley’s “Who Do You Love?” which is heard in Samuel Adams Beer commercials. George Thorogood and the Destroyers are joining forces again with Nashville producer Tom Hambridge on a new album expected out in early 2014.
Formed in 1972, Charlie Daniels Band has been entertaining crowds for more than 40 years and has been a staple on the Indian Ranch calendar. The CDB was there during the beginning of the Southern Rock movement and still rock audiences across the country. The band scored its first top ten hit with “Uneasy Rider” and since then has populated radio with such memorable hits as “Long Haired Country Boy,” “The South’s Gonna Do It Again,” “In America,” “The Legend of Wooley Swamp” and of course, his signature song, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” which won a Grammy for Best Country Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group in 1979 and single of the year at the Country Music Association Awards.
Indian Ranch offers music lovers a chance to see some of the greatest country, roots rock, classic rock and pop bands steps from Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg. Nestled between pine trees, the amphitheater offers the ability to see the stage from anywhere in the audience. Last year’s schedule included a star studded calendar of concerts from Chris Young, Peter Frampton, The Mavericks, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, Scotty McCreery, 38 Special, Sara Evans, Jamey Johnson, Three Dog Night, Jo Dee Messina, Dwight Yoakam, Phil Vassar, Montgomery Gentry and more.
