More About KREWELLA

After their electrifying performance at Ultra Music Festival 2013, Billboard declared that “Krewella is going to be huge!” The Chicago-bred electropunk trio have proven just that with their release of their debut album GET WET (Columbia Records) debuting in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 200, making KREWELLA the hottest act in dance music right now. The news comes to them as they blaze through their 55-date sold out GET WET LIVE Tour featuring technological stage wonder The Volcano as well as live vocals from KREWELLA’s Yousaf sisters.   The accomplishments are leaps and bounds from their humble beginnings, playing Windy City warehouse raves only two short years ago. Making their debut in summer 2011, their viral hit “Killin’ It” garnered them worldwide attention before they enamored radio listeners and dance floors enthusiasts with their platinum-certified single “Alive.” The trio, consisting of sister/songwriter/vocalists Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf joined by producer Kris “Rain Man” Trindl, continue their breakneck trajectory with Top 40 single, “Live for the Night.”
