UMEK @ Bijou Nightclub — Boston

As renowned Techno DJ UMEK works his way around the globe on an ambitious world tour, he stopped at Bijou this weekend for one night only to spin Boston into a frenzy. The place was absolutely packed and the crowd was bouncin’ along from beginning to end. It even seemed he was actually more than the place could handle when early on the main breakers blew — but luckily by the time we’d gotten another drink at the bar the power was restored and the party resumed full-scale. Everyone I talked to during the night agreed: This was a slamming set and Bijou was the place to be in Boston that night.
