Cross My Heart Hope To Die Shares Their “Rollercoasting” Remix and Video
Watch Cross My Heart Hope To Die’s “Rollercoasting” Video Here.
2013 has been a watershed year for the legendary experimental hip-hop and bass producer of Cypress Hill fame, DJ Muggs. On top of his latest album ~ Bass For Your Face ~ being released via Ultra Records in January ~ in March he announced his partnership with singer Brevi and producer Andrew Kline of L.A. hardcore band Strife for his latest, quite intriguing musical project, Cross My Heart Hope To Die (CMHHTD).
“Muggs and Kline’s love of dark, cinematic music finds expression in their ominously languid orchestra, which scores Brevi’s lyrical trajectory with the grace and scope of a movie soundtrack.” ~ Pitchfork
Hot on the heels of their music video release for “Rollercoasting,” Cross My Heart Hope To Die unleashes this haunting remix by Mixhell that manages to be both dreamy and dance-y at the same time. Enjoy via Earmilk here.
Cross My Heart Hope To Die’s debut self-titled EP is available now on iTunes.
