Anna Rose Returns with Behold a Pale Horse, Available August 6

At first glance, Anna Rose might not appear to be an old soul; with her youth and pop-flavored upbringing (her father is Oscar-winning Disney composer Alan Menken), one might expect her to be singing dime-a-dozen, auto-tuned sugar pop. But with her powerful voice and timeless rock and roll songs, she defies expectations.
Behold a Pale Horse is full of 70s-inspired rock-n-roll tunes that range from straight ahead blues rockers to haunting piano ballads. Her versatility has never been clearer, and Behold a Pale Horse recalls everything from Little Feat to Tori Amos. Produced by Kevin Salem (Rachel Yamagata, Lenka), it follows Rose’s 2010 debut Nomad.
