Shinedown + Airbourne + Bush = 3 hours + 3 great bands
By Seth M
I was lucky enough to catch Shinedown on May 3rd in Uncasville, CT when they brought their latest tour to Mohegan Sun. Playing a variety of their hits from their previous albums as well and their current album Amaryllis, the band ~ Brent Smith (vocals), Eric Bass (bass), Zach Myers (guitar) and Barry Kerch (drums) ~ rocked the Mohegan Sun Arena with this crushing 90 minute set:
Enemies
Devour
Unity
The Crow & The Butterfly
Save Me
I’ll Follow You
Diamond Eyes
If You Only Knew
Amaryllis
45
—-
Sound of Madness
Second Chance
Simple Man
Bully
Boasting the largest touring production Shinedown has had to date, the show looked amazing and the band sounded better than ever. If you’re a rock fan this band will never disappoint you live. On this tour, not only can you expect an amazing set but also an amazing show as Shinedown is bringing Airbourne and Bush along on the ride from city to city.
Airbourne is a hard rockin’ band from Australia that’s gaining a huge following (with good reason) here in the States and the venerable Bush haven’t lost an ounce of their darker appeal, playing a full hour-long hit fest of songs you know and love. This concert was 3 hours of non-stop great music and production value from 3 different but all amazing bands.
Check out shinedown.com for more tour dates and then get out and see these guys when they roll into your town.
