After performing for over 500,000 people during the Winter Jam tour, two-time Grammy-nominated rock group RED is now on the road this spring on a headlining tour in support of their latest album, Release The Panic. The tour will be stopping in Boston on Friday, May 24 at Middle East with support from We As Human and Southbound Fearing.

RED One fund

For every ticket sold in Boston, $1 will be donated to The One Fund, a relief fund for the victims of the Boston Marathon Bombings.

Release The Panic (Essential/Provident/Sony), the group’s fourth album, has already sold over 90,000 copies since its release and marked the group’s second Top Ten album debut on the Billboard Top 200 chart. The hard-driving first single, “Perfect Life,” which Revolver magazine declared “…an anthemic heart-pounder…” (February, 2013) and ArtistDirect said carries “…a massive stadium-size refrain into crossover territory,” has reached #25 on Active Rock radio and continues to gain in the key 18-35 year-old demographic. To record the critically-acclaimed new album, RED teamed up with producer Howard Benson (P.O.D., My Chemical Romance, Daughtry) at his brand-new West Valley Studios in LosAngeles and have delivered a strong set of compelling songs that were mixed by Benson and Mike Plotnikoff: “Perfect Life,” “Die For You,” “Release the Panic” and “Same Disease.”

The Nashville-based group will also be appearing at two festivals this spring: “Welcome to Rockville” in Jacksonville, FL and “Rock on the Range” in Columbus, OH.
