Darwin Deez’s Songs for Imaginative People Out Now on Lucky Number

“There’s charm and tunes here in abundance…..a simple, unselfconscious joy”~ NME (8/10)

Deez’s second album ups the wonky n’ witty ante without sacrificing heart or tunes” ~ Uncut (8/10)

DDFittingly on International Darwin Day, Darwin Deez just released his new album, Songs For Imaginative People, on Lucky Number.  Entirely self-recorded and produced in Asheville, North Carolina, then mixed in London, UK, with Charlie Andrew (Alt-J), it’s already reaping critical praise from the likes of Nylon, Uncut, NME, Vice and many others, all enchanted by Deez’s latest foray into off-beat, off-kilter guitar pop.

In support of the release, Darwin will be hitting the road this spring for an extensive US tour. As anybody who has seen Deez’s live shows can testify, he is an absolutely unique proposition, as he will no doubt be again mixing in choreographed dance moves with cast-iron hits like “Radar Detector” and “Bad Day” from his eponymous debut, as well as showcasing new material from Songs For Imaginative People.

You can stream the entire album HERE.
